And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. How we decided that we should be together forever!

How We Met
Beautiful Memories
Our best friends who will help us and we highly appreciate that!
Mario and I met on the drill pad in the AFJROTC program at Bladensburg High school 15 years ago. We quickly became friends and have remained close friends ever since. We have been on many trips together and have help each other navigate through life’s hardest times (women). Mario is from Jamaica and has been a brother from another mother. We both share a fondness for curry chicken and black cake. Mario currently resides in Bowie, Maryland. I am honored to have Mario standing by my side as my best man.
Nelson and I met during our Quixtar networking marketing days back in 2005. I was in Office Depot looking for new faces to join my business team and didn’t think that a conversation about expensive software would lead to strong friendship to include getting our motorcycle licenses together and many long road trips on two wheels and four. Nelson is a native Washingtonian and currently resides in Laurel, Maryland. I am delighted to have Nelson standing by my side on this momentous occasion.
Karl and I met at the U.S. Attorney’s Office back in 2008. Karl has been a smart, stead fast, and dependable friend who is always down for the cause. Karl has helped me with many projects to include a few relocations. Karl originally hails from Tennessee. He currently resides in Randallstown, Maryland. It’s a pleasure to have Karl supporting me on a day that won’t require jeans, work gloves, and timberland boots.
Klyston has been a life changer for me. His birth into this world promoted me to being a big brother and everything changed. I have watched Klyston grow into a respectable man and I am very proud of my brother. Klyston lives in Bladensburg, Maryland and I am happy to have him standing with me on my big day.
Kurtis has also been a life changer. Even though Kurtis is my youngest brother he has frequently been mistaken for the oldest in the Barclay boys line up. I am proud of the man that Kurtis has become. Kurtis also lives in Bladensburg, Maryland. I am happy to have him playing a big role during my wedding and hope that him and Klyston can follow suit when the time is right.

The friendship between my matron and I grew from us working together.
Andrea is my big sister and lives in Glenarden, Maryland with my nephew Trenton and niece Shanita. She has told me on numerous occasions that she is very proud of me and Kenric’s future union. I remember it like it was just yesterday when we were playing hand games and jumping rope! I’m sure that Andrea remembers when growing up having to tag me along everywhere she went but, this time she gets to tag along with me during this joyous time in my life. Andrea has always encouraged me through everything and supported all of my choices and I have done likewise. I appreciate Andrea taking time out to help me with wedding planning while being a student with exams up to her ears. I am thankful to have my sister stand beside me on this day as I know she will provide me with continued spiritual support and encouragement just as she has always done since I was a little kid.
Eden and I have been friends since Eden’s Freshman year at Marymount University, where we met while both being SGA Senators. We sure did hate those late night meetings with being commuters! Eden has been one of my partners in crime since our college heydays and is a very dear friend of mine. Eden is a self-proclaimed nomad (I call her that too because she is gone every year just about) and loves working on her fashion designs. She is working as an Accountant for a firm in Washington, D.C. Eden is originally from Ethiopia and currently resides in Springfield, Virginia. Eden has provided me with spiritual support and is my sister in Christ. I look forward to Eden’s continued support as my wedding day gets closer and am honored to have her stand beside me on my big day!
Gabby and I have been close friends since Gabby’s Freshman year at Marymount University. She is another one of my partners in crime and continues to this day (but in a good way :)). Gabby has been there for me in many ways that are too many to count. We were also road trip buddies in our heydays (including Eden and Asia)! Although it’s been awhile since a road trip, it hasn’t stopped her from coming all the way from Newport News just to have a girl’s weekend. Gabby is a great writer (I hope she’s not analyzing my skills right now lol) and has been in print reviewing her favorite fashions. We both share our love for dogs and dancing. Gabby is from Newport News, Virginia and currently resides there. Gabby has provided me with a lot of spiritual support and is my sister in Christ. Gabby and I will always be close friends and I am very happy that she will be there to see me and Kenric on our big day!
Mime and I have been close friends since we met during Mime’s Freshman year at Marymount University. I knew from the moment I met her we would be very close. We have the same majors but didn’t know of each other till hearing from Eden in how we reminded her of each other in our demeanors and lawd was she not lying! I never forget how she told me how to remember her name because she would literally get-at-chew (you)! LOL. So many good memories! I’ve grown to know her as my dearest friend whom has the biggest heart and always the best intentions! Mime is a Procurement Analyst for D.C. Government and currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia. It has been great to see us grow together in our friendship and as spiritual sisters. I’m so happy to have her standing by me on my big day!
Thank You Friends!
